FAQ

What is this blog about?

This blog is all about Utah Jazz basketball. We will be discussing everything from trade rumors to playoff predictions. While most of the information on this blog will be personal opinions, I hope to have educated discussions and interactions involving the information posted.

Why did you first become a Utah Jazz fan?

I have been a Jazz fan from as soon as I can remember. I grew up in Utah. I can remember watching Jazz games from the time I was a young toddler. It was always a tradition in my house. I also grew up playing basketball and have played my entire life.

Who is your current favorite Jazz player?

While most people would respond with Donovan Mitchell or Rudy Gobert, all great choices, I would say my favorite player is Joe Ingles. There is nothing more satisfying to me then seeing an unathletic looking white guy tear up opposing teams. He is a great shooter and understands the game in a way that allows him to be successful while even being a bit more unathletic than the rest.

Who is your favorite all-time NBA player?

I will always idolize Steve Nash. As a kid, that was who I wanted to structure my game after. I loved the way he ran the game. He was flashy at times, yet very in control of the game. In basketball, there are just a few things that cannot be taught. Steve Nash had all those instincts.

Is it hard being a Jazz fan?

To be fair, sometimes it can be. Being a small market team does not help this. Unlike large market teams, when we rebuild, it can be a few years until we have a team that can even compete. We do not land big free agents, and it can hard to have people want to come here. But unlike large market teams, I believe the fan bases are even more passionate about the game because of all these aspects. You appreciate what you do have when you do have a great team.
